AWS CloudWatch Alarms

AWS CloudWatch Alarms - Are used to setup alert(SMS message/Email) by using CloudWatch Metrics.

>CloudWatch > Alarms > Create alarm


 Select the Metrics

Select the Resource

then Select metrics




review the metic

Next

add notification or create new topic if you create new topic you need to confirm the mail id



After

Create

Check the alert after creation

Added one more alert just to test mail (CPU utilization usage < 10)
